To Work is to Study - Exploring the Potential of Design Thinking

Sune Kjems & Ida Vesterdal will talk through a number of projects they have worked on:

  • A citizen-driven innovation process for Denmark's second largest city's integration policy
  • The stakeholder-driven development of Denmark's innovation policy
  • User-driven improvement of the psychological work environment in prisons
  • User-centred innovation of Denmark's recycling system

They will describe their sensemaking process which has been under continual development for more than a decade. The process combines methods to access future scenarios with a palette of co-design tools, which empower the stakeholders. This enables Via Design to work both at the strategic level, as well as in a transformative role inside organisations.
