Open lecture: Carlos Katastrofsky

Carlos Katastrofsky is an artist, based in Austria. Working primarily in the field of new media art, the areas of exploration include netart, (interactive) installations, software art and the possibilities of web- elements as cultural tools. He is co-founder of CONT3XT.NET, based in Vienna.

Carlos will talk about some of CONT3XT.NET's investigations and current project/upcoming exhibitions. He will discuss the concept of exhibiting new media art, what he's developing in this field and how his artistic work led him there.
